MECK Consult participates and supports R&D projects to develop their own expertise and move the UAS ecosystem forward. Recent projects include:

Genius

MECK Consult is a project partner in GENIUS. The goal of the project is to enable drones to fly side by side with manned aviation. This requires a safe and reliable U-space system, which can route drones and manned aviation in a shared airspace. To establish the U-space, we need to secure a nationwide (5G) lower airspace communication, which does not exist today.

Healthdrone

MECK Consult supported the development of the first non-segregated concept for BVLOS operations which included a Detect and Avoid function.

U-space Funen

MECK Consult has supported the development of U-space trails in Denmark organized under the U-Space Funen project. This included the concept for the first non segregated BVLOS operations in Denmark.
