Klavs Andersen

CEO and Founder. Klavs has a background with a BSc in Electronic Engineering. He spent 20 years in the Danish Air Force working on fighter and transport aircraft programs and was trained as a Flight Test Engineer at National Test Pilot School. He spent 4 years at the Danish Civil Aviation Authority when the UAS industry was taking off. During this period Klavs participated in JARUS and EASA task forces to develop UAS regulation including the SORA methodology, thus paving the way for the regulatory landscape we have today. He has maintained roles in JARUS and EASA task forces to support the continued development of the industry.

Jens Anker Nielsen

Consultant. Jens has a background as a fighter pilot in the Danish Air Force followed by a career as commercial pilot in several different airlines and commercial operators.

Jens made the transition into uncrewed aviation when he began studies at University of Southern Denmark together with a position at UAS Test Center Denmark.

He subsequently joined MECK Consult in 2022 where his operational background complements the team.

Emma kirstine sejersen

Emma is a student assistant in MECK Consult. She is studying law at University of Copenhagen and this provides a good background for supporting on legal aspects of UAS operations. She also supports with administrative tasks.
